G IS FOR EXPERIENCE

Before founding Studio G, Karen Goldberg spent five years at Richardson Architects in Mill Valley. While there, she developed an architectural perspective that blends nicely with a sense of style honed during a former life as Senior VP at Barneys New York. (Wardrobe consultations provided on request.)

Karen applies her unique approach to space, surface and texture to projects of all shapes and sizes: from a kitchen renovation in San Francisco to a family retreat in Jackson Hole. With her strong aesthetic sensibility and extensive practical experience, Karen can go head-to-head and plan-to-plan with engineers, contractors and architects, while avoiding the conflicts and compromises that plague many projects.

Karen believes simplicity is both a first and last resort, and that a little good design goes a long way.
